The Lyons Companies have been providing risk management solutions for clients since 1984, when David F. Lyons, Sr., founded Lyons Insurance in Wilmington, Delaware.
The Lyons Companies has a staff of over 65 experienced insurance professionals and expected annual premium of over $85,000,000. The Lyons team was strengthened further in 2004 when Steven and Robert Odell, former principals of another successful independent firm, joined us to form LyonsOdell, expanding both our areas of expertise and our geographic reach.
Lyons has twice been honored as one of the Philadelphia 100®, the region's fastest-growing firms, and have been recognized by The Insurance Journal as one of America’s Top 100 Property/Casualty Independent Agencies.
Through our Partnership with the 130+ member firms of Assurex Global, we can provide local risk management solutions and service in every major and middle market in the United States and Canada and on five other continents. We're also able to structure international and Alternative Risk Solutions.
Lyons is headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, with additional offices in Radnor, Pennsylvania and Rehoboth, Delaware.
